A revised printing was produced in 1986 through the auspices of  The Chestico Museum and Historical Society, Port Hood, Nova Scotia. The producer of this website is totally  independant of The Chestico Museum and Historical Society. It was felt that the presentation of the geneological data in this form might be beneficial to anyone researching the history of the Smith Family, to anyone who does not own the actual book, to those who cannot visit the Port Hood area. We have supplimented the material with our own geneological findings which include many recent obituary listings and information from recent interviews.
